I think I’ve added every single resolution that I’ve read on your posts onto my own list. Except the eat less chocolate one. That’s just not realistic. Here’s what moved me this week:
I’ve already broken my resolution to do a self portrait ever week this year, so my new resolution is to do a self potrait every week this year starting next week. Nice, huh?
My resolution is this (And now it’s on public record!):
To report in every week with my usual cynical glee reporting on psychology, themes, people and all the things in between.
I find with resolutions - every one starts with good intentions and as my wise daddy says “THe road to hell is also paved with good intentions.” Some pop psychologist from somewhere has the idea that you need to ease yourself into new patterns of behaviour. If you’re starting something new and fall over, it’s okay. It’s not something worth beating yourself up about, but pick yourself up, try again and learn the things that trigger a fall.
