So, my plan to post my foray into the Nude theme during my week for picking favorites, so as to possibly avoid getting featured on the main site didn’t work out so well. Kathreen saw to that. :-)
At least I wasn’t the only guy giving it a shot, though, Thanks to JC for the company!
Here are some others that, whether they wanted to be featured on the main site or not, were just too good not to post:
Deb was both inspired and inspirational this week.
Luminous light from Madness.
There’s more than meets the eye with this week’s post from I’mPerfectMom.
I adore the almost abstract feeling to this photograph.
Finally, Betty shows us how to “capture the quality of nudity without full exposure.”
I’ve been amazed by the courage and taste displayed by all participants on this difficult theme. Keep up the good work!!
Nicole’s timely post teaches an important lesson to us all: If you’ve got to do your taxes anyway, you may as well do them in AMAZING window light and get a fantastic self portrait while you’re at it.
Christy at blytheandbonnie finds something absurd hiding in her kitchen. Click the photo to go to her post and learn the what and why.
Finally, below, we see that great minds do, indeed, think alike:
Betty is looking for a ‘breather’ from a hectic schedule. With this face, perhaps she should do it underwater?
Janet at muppinstuff may have an absurd fish on her face, but she’s got some serious issues on her mind, as well.

If you think this photo is phenomenal (and it is!) — you’ve got to read her blog post, too. Just click the photo to go there.

Brittany @ brittsoucy offers herself as an alternative to the front-runners.
Kozy Kitty touches on the politics of Arts in the schools (or not in the schools, as the case may be).

I missed the first week of the ‘Blue’ theme myself and here I am posting my 3rd post for this month when I realize with a JOLT (out of the blue??) that this is the final week of the blue challenge and I missed my picks last week.
SO….here’s a bit of hasty catch up:
deb richardson
tangled wings
enjoying the small things
I loved the similarities between these two, so I had to post them side by side:

I posted my picks shortly after Holli put her weekly post up — she actually stole one of my picks too, which I quickly replaced, so be sure to scroll down below so you don’t miss her thoughts about LeSophie’s entry for this week.
An awesome tribute to the American cultural icon, Rosie the Riveter.

Love this one — the huge stogey makes the shot! :-)

Apparently, going to the bathroom in some parts of Australia is not just a necessity; it’s an experience.

Very effective use of lightness and darkness.

Huge fan of Billy Wilder and Sunset Blvd., so this HAD to be one of my favorites for the week!

How fun is this?

…and finally…
I almost didn’t put this one up because I simply don’t have the words to express the tenderness and vulnerability in this wonderful photograph. I hope that someone else can do it justice.
Howdy — I’m Jeremy and I’ll be posting my favorites during the third week of each monthly challenge. I wasn’t too sure about the ‘Patterns’ theme at first, but I’ve kind of enjoyed it.
Without further ado:
Ya’ll are doing some great work on this theme. Can’t wait to see how everyone finishes off the month next week!
