When it’s been a busy week for us all and there have been very few picks I go ahead an go over my pick limit, (I’d post all of you if I could…) even if it’s only one picture. (I’m not paying the hosting space and bandwidth here… What a great week, I can feel my creativity slowing seeping back and it seems as if all of you feel that too. Here are my picks this week:
Another Saturday… Sometimes it feel like time is inching by and I just want it to speed up, but lately it seems like the weeks are flying by and I hardly have time to fit everything I need to do in them. I hate to feel so rushed and force this weekly endeavor, and hopefully as I clear my schedule my creativity for will return for this project.
Since my creativity is lacking, let’s look at yours.
New year’s resolutions… I suppose we’ll see how serious we all really are about these things by the end of the month. I think I try and make mine baby steps so that I have a better shot at sticking to them for the long haul. I’m not sure, where did this tradition come from?
OK, the link to Springdrizzle’s picture came up with an error…. But I thought her header image was gorgeous so I picked it in place of the missing photo… Springdrizzle
Red is such a fantastic color. It can signify anger, love, a uniqueness… If I want something to stand out, red is the first color I think of. Sure there’s the little black dress, but the woman who walks in wearing the red dress is sure to be noticed. Red makes a statement, is says,”look at me….”
Thanksgiving is one of these holidays that I both look forward to and dread. I’m not a big fan of your typical Thanksgiving menu… I mean, sure, I like mashed potatoes as much as the next person, but it always seems to me that quality and creativity get lost somewhere in the tradition. And who says that EVERY traditional dish need to be made? No party of six needs EIGHT side dishes and THREE types of pies! Family and a turkey sandwich would be just as pleasant to me…
So, in honor of the holiday, I’ll take this opportunity to up my pick count this week to EIGHT. One for every overcooked side dish I had to endure.
As usual, you have to read his post!
I hope that beyond the crazy amounts of food and family, you all had a great week.
Till next week,
-A
