Once again I am the lone person who forgot to post their SPC - I don’t know if this speaks to my state of mind (am I not up to celebrating?), but I just spent hours feeling like a ghost wandering through private parties. This was one of the most personal challenges yet for a lot of you - the joy was evident, as was the fresh breath of a new year.
My pick this week is one of my favorite pictures yet - and I just can’t put my finger on why. It’s so simple and there’s so much emotion in it.
Every single one of us had a childhood - be it good or bad. We all have our own stories to tell. There is something about an empty swing that says so much (without saying a word).
Was yours good? Was yours bad - or somewhere in between?
Either way I celebrate the chance to do it all over again as an adult. We all get “do-overs.” Nothing is permanent in this life. Happy New Year - welcome to 2008. Let’s choose to make things better this year - or celebrate how good we’ve had it.

In lieu of my own post - I celebrate having such a wonderful friend in Luzie.
Until next week,
