So … I thought we needed something a little intimate and personal - and what is more personal than the bathroom. I love a bathroom self portrait - they have been done to great effect by many artists over the years - so take some inspiration from these …

the mirror project has some incredible hotel bathroom images - there is something about all the mirrors and tiles and some of those hotels have some incredibly gorgeous deco features and other are the opposite with the most amazing grime, and the lighting - the flourescent or dim or ultra bright - really can be manipulated to create some great effects. check these out : mirrors : tiles there is also a whole theme on toilet reflection - not as gross as you might think - all those reflective surfaces - check this out : retro colours : the shower is another popular place for taking photos : grimy tiles : misty mirror
