Hopefully this new layout will work better. Am working on the look of it - colours are not quite working for me - but at least it seems to work properly. Any comments?

I LOVE IT!! Much much better than the other layout. Although can I make a suggestion? Put the Self Portrait Challenge horizontal header back on the very top of the page so you can remove the little button on the far right there and push these other three columns into the middle. Know what I mean?? I just think it would look better… But that’s just my opinion as a web designer!!

I like the new look. Especially the new links menu, but I think it should be moved to the left side. Just to make things look more balanced. :)

Kath, when I look at this with Explorer on windows I don’t see any of the sidebars with the links. It works with Safari on my Mac though. Is anyone else having trouble with Windows?
Other than that I think the design is great. Very nice.

I would make the body background white.
The grey makes it look sad.
But I like this theme better though.
I’ve used it before but didn’t quite work for me the way I wanted it too.

I like the newly added pink/red background. I agree w/ all-on-paper that the links sidebar should be moved to the left-side-top for balance, and visibility.
Also, couldn’t the right side of the top banner just be cropped off so that it doesn’t extend past the main content pages? Then, again, if you do move the links sidebar to the left, it might require less trimming.
