I have just realised that I have not thought of a challenge for April - it really snuck up on me this month - I was having so much fun checking out everyones March challenge. March was pretty challenging - it took a lot of thought and planning and effort - so something fun for April.
April fool - this is a playful theme - have fun with it - it can be interpreted in many ways - a couple I have thought of off the top my head are … I want to see what YOU come up with.
be foolish in front of the camera - be crazy, let down your hair, dress up, make faces, be silly - all in the privacy of your own home.
do something crazy and document it - (I don’t advocate doing anything dangerous or breaking the law though)
Also I hoped to start this new theme on the new website - but I think that might be another week or two away - so stay tuned …
Maybe it’s the Spring being here or maybe its just that our lives are busy but several other bloggers and I have been taking a break so it was hard to find my top picks this week. Here the are all the same, and Happy SPRING to you all!
I am so loving everyone’s interpretation of TIME! I love all the different takes on the daily picture. I haven’t been so great with the theme this month, but I’m going to try this week.
Soooo many great interpretations this week. I’ve really enjoyed reading what I’ve found.
But my picks this week are:
Composition:
This was a really well put-together concatenation of school pictures, by RhonnaFarrer.
Creative Interpretation:
MadOrganica shows us the effects of time on creativity.
Best Story:
This is the best story, as told through pictures. I love that Deb was consistent in taking pictures at 11:11 day and night. Great story.
Hottest Picture:
Not much of an explanation for why I like this. Heck, not much of an explanation alongside the photo. But Lelonopo makes me want to be here friend, with a wry smirk and fun angle.
What an amazing month february was - thank you everyone for participating so honestly in this challenge. I am really looking forward to march - you should have started taking photos already - can’t wait.
And in other news - look out for news on new spt site opening - sometime in the next week or 2
My mother collects inspirational pictures, things she just finds beautiful. She loves Victoria magazine and has a collection of pages pulled from two decades of the magazine, all sheet-protected in a white binder. I have learned to appreciate “feasting with the eyes” because of this.
Reading your blogs are the same for me.

Because I missed last week, I’m posting my favorites from last week as well as from this week today.

Composition/Best Photo:
HulaSeventy, snapping her maternity underwear. I love the angles.
Creative Interpretation:
Oh, don’t we all know the feeling. Baby and booze, brought to you by Elizaboothy.
Best Story:
An innocuous picture with a very real story by 62cherry. Worth a peek and a cry.
Hottest Picture:
Shutup. It’s Zack and Kelly, with obsessive fan IreneNam.
sooo jealous.
THIS WEEK
Composition/ Best Picture:
Again, I’m a sucker for angles. I feel like I’m falling backwards. From HappyThings.
Creative Interpretation:
LRStech gives us “nothing”, but then lists her faults. Her deficiencies are her ugly bits.
Best Story:
I had to include this story because it made me so uncomfortable, in a Timothy Treadwell kind of way. Thanks to the Golden God, DawsonJ.
Hottest Picture:
Oh, to speak french and to understand why I like this one! From Fredemickadel.
